There´s no doubt that a catastrophe like the earthquake in Haiti usually brings out the very best in people. The sympathy and interest in IFAW´s animal relief work in Haiti has been remarkable. IFAW´S team has been in Haiti for nearly two months now, and they have been helping all the animals in agony – whether family pets, wandering and roaming animals, or farm animals. According to IFAW, the challenges that they´ve faced have been massive. They will most likely be staying there for a long time, as they often do in their Emergency relief work.
IFAW´s team has an Animal Rescue Blog, which I happened to read, and I must say that there are some touching and heartbreaking stories of the survival and loss of many animals. I would like to thank IFAW, from the bottom of my heart, for all the help and support that they´ve given to these dear animals.
