A large ant (Camponotus herculaneus)
Amateur bug photographer John Hallmén has been fascinated by insects since he was a young boy. In the last three years John has made a name for himself by photographing the miniature creatures he finds in the Nackareservatet nature reserve close by his home in Stockholm, Sweden. Using a combination of studio and outdoor shots John magnifies the insects to show the stunning color and detail of his subjects.
