Today I was looking through some photos of mine and came across various photos of my four beautiful cats - Pantufa, Greeny, Vadia and Filhagata, so I decided to share a few of these photos with you:
Pantufa is the oldest cat of the house (she is also my favorite cat). I got her when she was a small little kitten and now she is almost 11 years old - time flies. She has 3 front teeth missing, but according to her vet, it’s perfectly natural, they tend to fall out with age. Pantufa loves to hide and sleep inside any cupboard that she can find inside the house. Pantufa is extremely friendly, however she is also a "very jealous" girl! If we pay more attention to any other cat, she will approach us and smack the other cat with her front paws various times until the other cat goes away.
Greeny is the only male cat of the group. He loves to be stroked, but as soon as he has had enough of stroking, he will smack us. He is not very sociable with the other cats, he is a very independent guy, however during cold/winter nights he´s always cuddled up with the rest of the group. He loves to hunt the neighbor’s pigeons/chickens, bird, mice, etc. and sometimes leaves the animals corpse outside the front door of our kitchen (I wonder why he does this...).
Vadia is the youngest cat of the house. She was abandoned when she was a little kitten and appeared in our back yard a few years ago, so we decided to adopt her. As a kitten, she had quite a few wild habits, for instance she used to hiss and smack the older cats when it was feeding time. She doesn´t like to be stroked by anybody except for one person, and that is my husband. All cats tend to clean themselves several times a day, but Vadia is amazing - she loves cleaning herself; she has the most beautiful fur of them all...
Filhagata is Greeny´s youngest sister, their mother died about two years ago at the age of 13. Filhagata has a big problem… she loves to eat. She is always the first cat to finish eating, and after eating her food she usually goes straight to the other cat´s food and eats it as well. Whether the cat has or hasn´t finished its food is not a problem for her (we do simultaneous feeding – each of them has their own plate). If they don´t clean their plate, she will do it for them...
